Peel Back March š
Sticker journal flip through, plus what I read & clicked on this month ā·
Hi, welcome to Nancyās Happy Pagesā a cozy, fun corner of the internet full of stickers, where I note the ordinary glimmers of my life in hopes of inspiring you to pause, notice, and embrace your own. š 100% made by a human.
March was good to us. š I finally knocked out home projects that had lived rent-free in my head for yearsā a foyer glow-up, a full garden overhaulā and this was the month I got my groove back. š Everything Iāve been doing for my health over the last few years finally clicked. Thatās not a small thing. Thatās monumental.
The whole month felt like a big celebration: my daughter officially joined the teenager club (bittersweet, mindboggling, and how is this my life?!). I wrapped up my second journey through TAW. And I discovered my new favorite bug?!
Iām just... so grateful. š· I know the world feels heavy and scary right now, and Iām holding that too. But I want to unapologetically celebrate this for myself because I cannot remember the last time I had a month this good.
As for these spreads, I let myself play with my stickers and wild abandon! Theyāre chaotic good. š
āFlip Throughā My 2026 Sticker Journal
Iāve officially reached the point in the year where, if I have a few spare minutes, I will leisurely flip through the weeklies of my sticker journal and admire the visual chaos of it all. I thought you might like the experience as well?

āAnne of Green Gablesā ā ā ā ā ā
Anne Shirley is whimsical and fiercely talkative in the best way, and Prince Edward Island is practically its own character. Underneath all the charming antics is a genuinely emotional story about finding where you belong. Thatās what makes it timeless.
āFamousā ā ā ā ā ā
Read the whole thing in one sitting, which tells you everything you need to know. š Itās a dark, fast-paced novella about a celebrity impersonator who gets dangerously obsessed with his lookalike and the twists that ensue.
āStolen Focus: Why You Canāt Pay Attention and How to Think Deeply Againā ā ā ā ā ā
I expected the usual ādelete your apps and touch grassā advice, but Hari goes much deeper, arguing that our attention crisis is systemic, rooted in pollution, diet, childcare, and the deliberate architecture of our tech. It wants a revolution, and I highly recommend checking it out.
āIn Five Yearsā ā ā ā ā ā
This is the rare romance that will surprise you. It follows a high-powered lawyer who wakes up five years in the future, and spends the rest of the book trying to make sense of what she saw. Itās also a story about friendship and grief, and it might gut you.
āThe Correspondentā ā ā ā ā ā
Everyone told me itād be excellent, and everyone was right. This epistolary novel follows a witty, sharp, 72-year-old gradually losing her sight, and reading it feels like doing detective work on a beautifully complicated life well-lived. All the feels, as promised.
āMy Enneagram: A Visual Guide to Find Your Personality Type, Stress Less, & Live Your Dreamsā ā Unrated, but lovely!
The illustrations feel approachable, and the journal prompts genuinely make you want to pick up a pen. Itās been a few years since I revisited my enneagram, and this was a gentle, aesthetically pleasing way back in. When I finished it, my thirteen-year-old started working through it too! ⨠Itād be a great gift for any teens in your life.
āSomething in the Waterā ā ā ā ā ā
This is a psychological thriller about a couple who find a bag of cash on their honeymoon and watch their lives unravel from there. š It has that cinematic āone more chapterā quality that also makes you wonder what youād do in similar circumstances.
āAnd Then? And Then? What Else?ā ā ā ā āā
Lemony Snicketās memoir-slash-writerās-manifesto is as eccentric and non-linear as youād expect. Itās like a long, rambling conversation with a brilliant, artsy, odd friend. Funny, moving, even if it doesnāt quite cohere into something you could summarize at brunch.
āAutomatic Noodleā ā ā ā āā
The premise: sentient abandoned robots opening a hand-pulled noodle shop in post-war San Francisco. Itās cozy but pointed, with themes around segregation and identity wrapped in mouthwatering food descriptions. What kept pulling at me, though, was the ethics of it being actually about robots rather than humans in metaphor, a distinction that makes it more interesting, not less.
āAnd Now, Back to Youā ā ā ā āā
A grumpy-meets-sunshine romance between two rival meteorologists trapped together in a historic blizzard with sparkly banter and a family caretaking subplot that gives it heart beneath the rom-com surface.
